Reconstruction of Balykchy — Bokonbaev — Karakol road continues in Issyk-Kul region. The first 25 kilometers will be repaired by May 1. The press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the press service, work on the first section of the road has entered the final stage. This section is scheduled to be opened to traffic by May 1.
Asphalt concrete paving has been completed on the section from kilometer 0 to 25. Specialists are currently finalizing the road infrastructure to ensure the road commissioning.
Road signs have also been installed, as well as metal mesh reinforcement to ensure road safety.
The total length of Balykchy — Bokonbaev — Karakol road is 141.6 kilometers.
