«The CIP currently includes 26 climate projects, 15 of which are expected to be national infrastructure projects, eight projects will be more in the form of technical support, and the remaining three will be regional projects. We will approve the program in the near future. We hope to achieve the planned results with potential donors,» Dastan Abdyldaev said.

He added that the preliminary funding for these 26 projects is $420 million. This figure may change during implementation.

The Climate Finance Center was established in 2018. It is designed to attract investment and implement projects to adapt to climate change and mitigate its consequences, often with the assistance of international financial institutions.
