Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, met with Pedro Vargas David, President of the international television channel Euronews.
The two sides discussed prospects for a long-term partnership and the promotion of information content about Kyrgyzstan on the international stage.
The Cabinet Chairman emphasized the importance of Euronews as one of the world’s leading media outlets shaping the global agenda and noted Kyrgyzstan’s interest in more comprehensive and objective coverage of developments in the country.
Particular attention was paid to media coverage of major international events to be held in the country, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting and the 2026 World Nomad Games.
It was noted that 2026 will mark the 35th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan’s independence.
Pedro Vargas David stated that this is his first visit to the country and expressed interest in developing cooperation. He stated that Euronews is ready to become a platform for promoting Kyrgyzstan on a global level.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to develop cooperation and strengthen partnerships.
