Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Melis Turgunbaev has submitted his resignation letter, Speaker of Parliament Marlen Mamataliev announced during a session of the Zhogorku Kenesh.
According to him, the statement on voluntary resignation has been received by Parliament. The speaker urged relevant committees to review the matter.
Melis Turgunbaev has served as head of the National Bank since June 26, 2024.
