Health Minister inspects implementation of electronic database of medicines

During a working visit to Osh and Jalal-Abad regions, Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Damirbek Osmonov inspected the functioning of the electronic database of medicines and medical devices, including the traceability module.

According to the Ministry of Health’s press center, during an inspection at Neman-Pharm LLC pharmacy at the Jalal-Abad Regional Clinical Hospital, medications not reflected in the electronic system were discovered. Authorized specialists drew up a report.

The minister emphasized that mandatory medicines registration and digital traceability requirements apply to all pharmaceutical entities, regardless of ownership.

«Every medicine in circulation in the country must be reflected in the electronic traceability system. This is a necessary condition for ensuring transparency in the pharmaceutical market, compliance with legal requirements, and the protection of patients’ rights,» he noted.
