An earthquake occurred in China and was felt in Kyrgyzstan, the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The 4.5-magnitude tremor was recorded at 3:16 a.m.
The epicenter was located in China, in Kak Shaal Too mountain range, 33 kilometers southeast of the Kyrgyz village of Bedel, 75 kilometers southeast of Kumtor mine, and 123 kilometers southeast of Karakol.
The intensity of the earthquake in the village of Bedel reached magnitude 3.5.
