Comic book based on Er-Toshtuk epic presented in Bishkek

A new comic book «Er-Toshtuk» was presented in Bishkek. Its author is Gulnur Kozhobaeva.

According to her, the idea of ​​creating the comic has been brewing for a long time, it is an effective tool for influencing young people.

«I would like young people to have their own heroes. Er-Toshtuk epic is suitable for comics, there are interesting heroes and worlds. It is very convenient for drawing,» Gulnur Kozhobaeva told.

The comic was published in Russian, the authors intend to translate it into Kyrgyz and foreign languages.

The project is being implemented by Tamchy Tasma Public Foundation within the framework of small grants from Kuduk Cultural Center Public Foundation under the Cultural Leadership Program — Culture for Regional Development with the support of the Government of Switzerland, in partnership with STAN youth organization (Ukraine/Finland) and the Culture and Management Lab (Georgia).
