Trade mission of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan signed a contract for the sale and purchase of a trade pavilion in Termez International Trade Center on November 11, 2024. The Ministry of Economy reported.
The contract was signed by representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the management company of Termez International Trade Center, Termez International Trade Centre LLC.
The ministry noted that the acquisition of the pavilion opens up strategic opportunities for Kyrgyzstan, including expanding the export of Kyrgyz products, improving access to the markets of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, and establishing direct ties with new business partners. This also creates prospects for:
- Growth of exports of agricultural and industrial products;
- Establishing interaction with Afghan business partners, which will potentially lead to the creation of new jobs and increasing the country’s competitiveness in the region;
- Expanding opportunities for Kyrgyz entrepreneurs seeking to develop business in Central Asia.

Termez International Trade Center is a hub at the intersection of major trade routes of Central Asia, which provides significant commodity flows between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.
