Convicts held in the colonies of Kyrgyzstan participated in the 4th Intercontinental Online Chess Tournament among prisoners, which was held under the motto «Chess for Freedom». The State Penitentiary Service reported.
Convicts from 51 countries took part in the tournament, the Kyrgyz team took fifth place.
The tournament was held according to the Swiss system in 7 rounds, with a time control of 10 minutes for each player until the end of the game with the addition of 5 seconds per move, starting from the first.
