Construction of new Osh market begins near Bishkek

Construction of new Osh market has begun near Bishkek. Construction coordinator Bakyt Urgaliev reported.

According to information of 24.kg news agency, Bakyt Urgaliev is a foreman at Inshaat Stroi Building LLC.

A total of 59 hectares of land has been allocated for the new facility. Nine large pavilions will be built there, which will house trading areas for entrepreneurs. It is planned to open gyms, a mosque, and medical centers on the territory of the market.

Cold storage chambers will be installed in each pavilion, and storage facilities will be equipped.

A large parking lot (12 hectares) is provided for buyers and visitors.

A new bus station, multi-story residential buildings from the State Mortgage Company, and an automobile assembly plant are planned to be built nearby.

The work is being carried out by the contractor Ordo Kurulush.

Recall, this company previously took part in the construction of the new building of the presidential administration Yntymak Ordo.

The quality of the work will be controlled by Gradstroyservice LLC. The customer is the Department of Presidential Affairs. The opening of the new Osh market is planned for October 2025.
