The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan announced that it is implementing 100 major projects in agriculture. The press service of the ministry reported.
According to its data, they are being implemented in the following areas:
- In fishing industry — 14 projects;
- In poultry farming — 12 projects;
- In livestock farming — 8 projects;
- Transport and logistics centers and storage facilities — 13;
- Nurseries — 11;
- Scientific and educational initiatives — 7;
- Wool processing — 5 projects;
- Dairy production — 5 projects;
- Machine and tractor stations — 3;
- Growing of agricultural crops — 18 projects.
It is reported that 32 of these projects are state-owned. At least 19 project of them were financed by Aiyl Bank, Eldik Bank and bilateral development funds for a total of more than 1 billion soms.
Financing of another eight projects has been approved for a total of 760 million soms. Issues of financing, registration of permits and land plots for the remaining 69 projects are still being resolved.
