Prices for interregional flights will be reduced from September this year. The Chairman of the Board of Manas International Airport JSC Manasbek Samidinov announced at a press conference in Bishkek.
He emphasized that regional airports need subsidies, and the expansion of runways requires significant costs. According to him, private companies independently set ticket prices and the enterprise cannot influence this.
«However, with the opening of our own airline, we will be able to reduce the price of interregional flights. We have purchased two new aircraft,» Manasbek Samidinov noted.
He added that the prices will be reduced gradually, since foreign pilots will be attracted for the new aircraft, which will require additional costs.
«We will gradually reduce prices, but the ticket prices will definitely not be higher than the current ones,» he assured.
