Electric Stations JSC announced several tenders for the implementation of Kambarata HPP-2 project. The company’s website says.
Those interested are invited to participate in bidding and competition for the supply, design and installation of:
- Lot No. 1. Turbine, generator and general station systems.
- Lot No. 2. Open distribution devices and power lines.
- Lot No. 3. Pressure pipeline and construction work on the water pipeline and the hydroelectric power station building.
The deadline for submitting bids is until September this year.
According to Deputy Minister of Energy Taalaibek Baigaziev, the estimated cost of the project on reconstruction of the unit at Kambarata HPP-2 is 1.5 billion soms.
The station was put into operation in 2010. Its capacity is 120 megawatts, but in fact only 90 are generated. The remaining 30 are locked up due to the peculiarities of the station’s operation. Officials want to free up those same megawatts with the participation of MBT Stroy private company.
