The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic commented on the detention of a Kyrgyz woman in Moscow and the placement of her 18 -month-old child in an orphanage.
Earlier, the media reported that the 47-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan was arrested because migrants- compatriots lived with her in her apartment. A criminal case was opened against her under the article «Organization of illegal migration.» Russian police said the baby could be taken by the father by presenting marriage and birth certificates. However, the man was deported this year.
On June 28, employees of the embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic visited the Investigation Department for Tushino district of Moscow, where they met with a senior investigator. He informed that investigative measures in the criminal case have been completed and the case materials were sent to court.
The embassy also, together with the representative office of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Migration, worked on the issue of transfer of the child to close relatives for further transportation to Kyrgyzstan and transfer to the father.
The child is in Kyrgyzstan with his father now.
The issue is under control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the embassy.
