All repair works on the streets of Bishkek should be completed by August 31. It was announced during a tour of the reconstructed roads by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Japarov, and the Mayor of the capital, Aibek Dzhunushaliev.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers instructed to speed up the work on reconstruction of the streets, carry it out in two 10-hour shifts, and check all points of sale located along the roads for legality.
Akylbek Japarov also drew attention to the appearance of buildings and signs, noting that they look sloppy. The chief architect of Bishkek, Urmat Karybaev, replied that a design code had been developed and approved and there are sketches of signs. Work to replace them is already underway.
