Foreigner detained for drug trafficking in Vostok village

A 25-year-old foreigner was detained for stashing drugs on the territory of Alamedin district. The press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Chui region reported.

According to the police, they received information that a 25-30-year-old man made drug stashes in the specified area.

The fact was registered under the article «Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues without the purpose of sale» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

«The suspect was identified. He turned out to be 25-year-old U.B., citizen of another state. He received orders and tasks through a Telegram-channel from the curator. The foreigner had to make stashes, take photos of these places and send the coordinates to the curator. A total of 29 drug stashes were found in Vostok village. 242 grams of drugs were seized,» the department reported.

The suspect was detained on May 23 and placed in a temporary detention center. His involvement in other similar crimes is being established.
