Woman wanted in Russia detained in Bishkek

A woman who is on an interstate wanted list was detained in Bishkek. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

In February last year, internal affairs bodies of Russia put the citizen on the wanted list on suspicion of committing a crime under Article 322 (illegal crossing of the state border) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

«Outdoor surveillance cameras with a facial recognition function installed in public places of Bishkek recorded the wanted woman. Police officers detained her and handed her over to the relevant services,» the statement says.
