Three more state pharmacies opened in southern Kyrgyzstan

State pharmacies were opened in Osh and Jalal-Abad regions. The press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The pharmacies were opened in the Osh City Clinical Hospital, the Children’s Hospital of Kara-Suu district and Jalal-Abad Regional Clinical Hospital.

«Pharmacies offer more than 800 types of medicines included in the list of vital ones. The population will be able to buy them 10-15 percent cheaper than in private pharmacies in the country,» the ministry reported.

The Ministry of Health added that work is underway to open state pharmacies throughout the republic; at the initial stage, it is planned to open 46. «The range of medicines in pharmacies is subsequently planned to be increased from 800 trade names to 2,000,» the ministry informed.

The state pharmacies have already been opened in Bishkek and Osh cities.
