The Ministry of Agriculture, together with associations of flour producers and relevant government agencies, organized fairs to sell flour at producer’s prices. The press service of the ministry reported.
Addresses of the flour milling fairs in Bishkek:
- Osh market;
- Alamedin market (near Tabylga shopping center);
- Orto-Sai market (entrance to Oberon market);
- Dordoi food market.
Prices for domestic flour at the fairs:
- Premium grade — 1,860 soms;
- First grade — 1,500 soms;
- Second grade — 1,125 soms.
«Previously, due to the rise in price of Kazakh flour, consumers began to buy more varieties of domestic flour. Half of the domestic market was made up of Kazakh flour. Significant efforts are being made to increase the volume of domestic flour production,» the Ministry of Agriculture said.
