It is planned to hold an interregional Kyrgyz-Russian conference in the autumn, shortly before the visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan. Asel Begmatova, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, told at a briefing.
According to her, the conference will be held in Jalal-Abad. The main topic will be industrial cooperation. It is planned to organize a visit by the participants of the event to a number of industrial enterprises of the region, including Mailuu-Suu Electric Bulb Plant and Kyrgyzneftegaz OJSC.
«In addition, there is an agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation on the construction of nine schools. It is expected that a ceremony of solemn laying of a capsule in the foundation of one of the educational institutions under the project will take place on the sidelines of the conference. In addition, it is planned to open a park of friendship between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and Russia,» Asel Begmatova told.
