Over the weekend, athletes competed for medals in freestyle wrestling.
Kyrgyzstanis won two medals: Omurbek Asan uulu — gold and Rustamzhan Kakharov — silver. The national team of the Kyrgyz Republic took the fourth team place. Athletes from Iran took the first place. Wrestlers from India took the second place, from Kazakhstan — the third.
Bishkek hosts the Asian Wrestling Championship (U17 and U23) on June 10-18.
