At least 60 electric charging stations will appear in Bishkek. Press service of the City Hall reported.
The issue of installing the stations was discussed by representatives of the structural divisions of the Bishkek City Hall, Bishkekglavarkhitectura state institution, Main Traffic Safety Department and employees of private companies.
Makhabat Shambetova, Chief Engineer of Bishkekglavarkhitectura said that work on drawing up permits for 60 stations has been completed. As a result of the meeting, an instruction was given to city services to allow issuance of a permit for parallel production work.
Participants of the meeting also discussed the issue of branding the parking area and installing appropriate signs.
The City Hall recalled that the meetings are held as part of the Government Accelerators program within «Simplification of obtaining permits for installation of charging stations for electric vehicles in the Kyrgyz Republic» project.
