Clandestine dairies with an annual turnover of more than 140 million soms have been revealed in Kyrgyzstan. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
«Milk procurers have long acted as intermediaries between farmers and dairy factories, buying raw materials at a lower cost and preventing farmers from making direct deliveries.
The buyers, in order to extract maximum profit, carried out the primary processing of raw milk in unsanitary conditions.
They also hid the actual amount of the proceeds. It was established that the turnover of the clandestine dairies was more than 140 million soms per year. The amount of preliminary damage in the form of unpaid taxes is about 34 million soms,» the statement says.
The Department of the SCNS for Chui region is checking the possible involvement of large dairy producers in the illegal activities.
