The President of Kyrgyzstan signed a decree on the payment of one-time material assistance in the amount of 100,000 soms to veterans of the Great Patriotic War. The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration reported.
As noted, the material assistance is paid in order to provide social support to veterans in honor of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The following categories of citizens will get 100,000 soms from the state:
- Disabled WW II veterans;
- Participants of the Great Patriotic War;
- Persons from among the juvenile prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of detention created by the Nazis and their allies during the World War II;
- Persons who worked at the enterprises, institutions and organizations of the city of Leningrad during the siege from September 8, 1941 to January 27, 1944 and were awarded the medal «For the Defense of Leningrad», as well as persons awarded the sign «Inhabitant of besieged Leningrad».
The one-time material assistance will be paid until May 9, 2023 by transfer to bank accounts and through district, city post offices.
