The Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) and the Kyrgyz Technical University (KTU) are developing a joint educational program. The official account of the KSMA on Facebook reports.
It is noted that it concerns Medical Engineering specialty. A feature of the interdisciplinary program is a balanced combination of blocks of mathematical, physical-chemical, technical and medical disciplines.
«According to the curriculum, about 40 percent of all subjects are medical and 60 percent are technical,» the university noted.
After completing the program, graduates will be able to work in medical institutions (service maintenance and repair of medical equipment, functional diagnostics operator (ultrasound, CT, MRI and others), perfusionist, biophysicist in the department of radiology and radiation therapy, in universities (teachers of technical and biomedical disciplines), scientific and practical centers of medical, technical, sports profile, sales of medical equipment and etc.
