The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan summed up the results of the annual study of the number of employees of enterprises and organizations in terms of wages. The distribution was carried out using the minimum wage, which in 2022 amounted to 2,200 soms.
As the results showed, more than 240,000 people, or almost half of the workers (49 percent — Note by 24.kg news agency), earned from 22,000 to 66,000 soms monthly last year.
About 20,000 people, or 4 percent of the total number of employees, received wages of more than 66,000 soms. More than 19,000 people earned 6,600 soms, which is 4 percent.
