Russian citizen Vladimir Kaidanovich, who held a protest in front of the building of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan on Friday, was fined 3,000 soms. Attorney Bakyt Avtandil told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, such a decision was made by the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek.
«We will appeal against the decision of the court. Vladimir Kaidanovich partially admitted his guilt. According to him, he resisted the police officers in the heat of the moment, and noted that he held protest because the war in Ukraine partially concerns him as a citizen of Russia,» Bakyt Avtandil said.
Activist Ondurush Toktonasyrov and two other people held a protest near the building of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan on Friday. All three do not know each other and protested separately. The police officers arrived at the scene and detained them.
