Athletes of the Kyrgyz national team won nine medals in competitions in various sports at the World Nomad Games in Iznik (Turkey).
Mas-wrestling athletes competed for victory on Friday. Azamat Asanov (weight category up to 70 kilograms) and Keldibek Ataibek uulu (110 kg) won gold medals. Bakdolot Abylov and Ulukbek Yryspaev (75 kg) won bronze medals.
Dilbara Imankanova won a gold medal among women. Nazia Mailibasheva won a silver medal.
Irlan Kazybek uulu (70 kg) and Baktiyar Kadyrbek uulu (75 kg) won silver medals in Turkish aba gyuresh wrestling, and Shatman Esenbek uulu (80 kg) won a bronze.
IV World Nomad Games started on September 29. More than 3,000 athletes from 102 countries will take part in the Games. Kyrgyzstan is represented by 148 athletes.
