German jazz band Time Rag Department performed on Erkindik Boulevard in Bishkek.
The guests held an open-air jam session with Kyrgyz musicians.
The performance was timed to the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-German diplomatic relations.
Musicians from Germany invited Bishkek residents and guests of the capital to their concert at the Philharmonic Hall, which will take place on September 13.
«The mixture of German and Kyrgyz music highlights the close friendship between the two countries and is therefore cause for celebration,» the Permanent Representative of the German Ambassador David Westenfelder said.
