Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol was awarded the title of honorary citizen of Tokmak. Press service of the City Hall reported.
At a session of the City Council, the Mayor Urmatbek Samaev submitted a petition for conferring the title of «Honorary Citizen of Tokmak City» to Dmitry Bivol.
The deputies supported the mayor’s initiative.
Dmitry Bivol was born on December 18, 1990 in Tokmak city. He became interested in boxing at the age of six and began training under the guidance of a coach Vyacheslav Sharapov.
The winner of the championship of Kyrgyzstan among youths was a member of the youth team of the country. He moved to Russia at the age of 15.
