A member of Yakyn Inkar extremist movement was detained in Ak-Suu district. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Issyk-Kul region reported.
The 53-year-old man preached the ideology of the banned movement among the local population. The suspect has been identified.
«During a search in the house of the suspect, handouts were found — CDs, notebooks, leaflets containing religious information. Examination showed that the materials contain the ideology of Yakyn Inkar religious extremist movement,» the department said.
