The railway car building plant of the branch for carriage facilities of Kyrgyz Temir Zholu state enterprise presented an experimental modernized passenger car intended for domestic traffic. Press service of the company reported.
«Modernization was carried out on the basis of a passenger car to be decommissioned. Without changing the design of the car, its body was reinforced to ensure safety. The structural part of the car did not change, the modernization touched on the interior.
Windows were enlarged for the comfort of passengers. Panoramic windows, individual seats, air conditioning systems, a refrigerator and a cooler for drinking water were installed.
On the way, the passenger can appreciate the quality of the video and stereo system of the new full-screen TVs. New elements of running gears and automatic brakes have been installed, which ensures traffic safety,» the statement says.
The company said that the Kyrgyz Railways has never bought new passenger cars during the years of independence.
