Employees of the environmental police of Issyk-Kul region found illegally felled Tien Shan spruces in the courtyard of the house of a resident of Dzheti-Oguz district. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region reported.
«There was information that one of the residents of the district keeps illegally cut Tien Shan spruces at home. The police managed to identify the suspect. It turned out to be a resident of Ak-Kochkor village. During the inspection, employees of the tourist-environmental police and representatives of the district forestry found in the courtyard of his house and seized 25 pieces of Tien Shan spruces without the appropriate permits,» the report says.
The fact was registered. The collected materials were handed over to the investigation service for a legal assessment.
