At least 50 people will be able to receive an international scholarship from the President of Kyrgyzstan in 2022. Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, said this in an interview with «Evening of Hard Day» TV show.
According to him, if the competition is large-scale, then preference will be given to engineering and technical specialties — teachers, young scientists, as well as social and humanitarian areas.
«The maximum amount of the scholarship will be $50,000. There is an agreement with scholarship holders — certain obligations. It’s not like we gave money and you have to justify it and return it somehow. These are long term investments. It is important that those young talented people, who want to learn, have access to this education. The main thing is to give a start in life,» Edil Baisalov said.
Earlier it was reported that Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on the establishment of the international scholarship of the President of Kyrgyzstan El Umutu. Scholarships will be allocated for master’s and doctoral PhD programs in technical, engineering, economic, social and humanitarian areas of training.
