Weapons and ammunition cache found in Naryn region

A cache of weapons and ammunition was found in Naryn region. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

The cache was found in Semiz-Bel village, Kochkor district near Orto-Tokoi reservoir. The security officers found two sawn-off smoothbore guns, a smoothbore and rifled small-caliber gun, a Saiga-410 shotgun and 59 cartridges of various calibers.

«Serial numbers have been erased on all weapons and ammunition, including marking data on cartridges. Investigative and operational measures are being carried out to identify persons who organized the cache,» the statement says.
