Athlete Manas Erkul uulu committed suicide in Osh city. The Internal Affairs Department of the southern capital of Kyrgyzstan informed 24.kg news agency.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated.
«The man was found hanged on January 16. He came to visit his relative and committed suicide in her house in the toilet. The woman cut the rope and tried to give the man artificial respiration, but it was too late,» the department said.
24.kg news agency learned from own sources that Manas Erkul uulu has been wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs since 2019.
Manas Erkul uulu was the grappling champion of Kyrgyzstan.
