The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan continues to prepare for the population census, which will be held in the spring of 2022. Press service of the committee reported.
Preparatory activities with representatives of local self-government bodies began in Batken region. The headquarters for the preparation of the population and housing census in this region is headed by the Deputy Authorized Representative of the President in the region Zhanybek Isakov.
The members of the headquarters have already discussed how to provide the census takers with all the necessary resources, materials and conditions to carry out the work, as well as how to ensure the safety of these people.
