Aisuluu Tynybekova, two-time world freestyle wrestling champion and silver medalist of the Olympic Games, will travel to Batken region. Office of the Presidential Envoy to the region reported.
The meeting with residents of Batken is scheduled for December 11-12.
Aisuluu Tynybekova plans to meet with the head of the region Abdikarim Alimbaev and the schoolchildren of Maksat village, Leilek district (this village suffered the most during the April conflict. — Note of 24.kg news agency) and will hold a master class for young wrestlers from Ak-Sai village.
A meeting with the residents and young athletes of Batken is also planned at the school named after Zhomart Bokonbaev.
The April border conflict left 190 Kyrgyzstanis wounded, 36 people were killed, including children. More than 40,000 people were evacuated from the conflict area.
