The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov got acquainted with implementation of projects of the national telecommunications operator Kyrgyztelecom on creation of an IT cluster and open space for IT specialists, IT co-working in the center of Bishkek. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Akylbek Japarov paid special attention to solving state and social problems by introducing digital technologies, noting that ambitious tasks have been set for Kyrgyztelecom. Daniyar Kosumbaev, Chairman of the Board, presented the main directions of the company’s development strategy. They include optimization of the financial condition with restructuring of debts to the budget, work with debtors to recover long-term debts, increase in salaries of company employees, modernization of communication networks and equipment to reduce customer churn and attract new clients, as well as building a strategy to expand the customer base in the regions of the country. The company is developing various solutions for the provision of public and social services to the population using new technologies.
Akylbek Japarov noted that Kyrgyztelecom is the national telecommunications operator and should fully implement this function. Following the meeting, Japarov instructed the management of Kyrgyztelecom and Kyrgyz Pochtasy to start implementation of IT projects.
