The 9th meeting of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the members of the Commonwealth of Independent States took place in Moscow. Press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
They discussed a number of issues in the field of international security, including the threats emanating from the territory of Afghanistan, and associated with the development of biotechnology, including synthetic biology.
The meeting participants talked about cooperation in the field of migration.
In accordance with the agenda, the Secretaries of the Security Council of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan presented their views on topical problems of ensuring national and regional security.
