Greece is ready to provide Kyrgyzstan with a vaccine against COVID-19 free of charge. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
The Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev held a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Greece Kostas Fragogiannis on November 5 on the sidelines of the first economic forum European Union — Central Asia.
The parties discussed upcoming bilateral events, including preparations for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries in 2022, holding regular political consultations, as well as organizing mutual visits at the highest and high levels.
The Deputy Foreign Minister Fragogiannis noted the interest of the Greek side in enhancing relations in the political and economic spheres, development of a green economy, tourism and trade.
As for investment cooperation, he noted the possibility of interaction through Enterprise Greece organization, as well as the readiness to organize a visit of a Greek business delegation to Kyrgyzstan.
The Greek side also announced its readiness to provide the republic with a vaccine against COVID-19 at no cost.
