Investigation Department of the State Committee for National Security for Bishkek terminated pre-trial proceedings against a General Talantbek Isaev. Press center of the department reported.
Recall, pre-trial proceedings against the Major General of the police Talantbek Isaev with preliminary classification of a crime under the Article «Abuse of official position» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic were registered.
According to the State Committee for National Security, an internal check by the Internal Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs found out that on May 30, 2011, Talantbek Isaev, being at the disposal of personnel, was appointed to the position of a Vice President of Manas Management Company, where he obtained an interest-free loan based on a decision of the Board of Directors, which has been repaid in full.
According to the current legislation, obtaining a loan and using it for purposes not affecting entrepreneurial activity by employees of law-enforcement bodies does not contradict the requirements of the law on law-enforcement bodies.
The fact that Talantbek Isaev obtained an interest-free loan is not a criminal offense.
Investigation within the pre-trial proceedings found out that the general’s actions on the aforementioned facts do not contain signs of any corpus delicti provided for by the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
