Committee for protection of the deputy of the Parliament Kanatbek Isaev does not intend to hold riots. The ex-chairman of the Central Election Commission Mambetzhunus Abylov announced this today at a press conference in 24.kg news agency.
According to him, when Kanatbek Isaev supported another candidate, the authorities arranged a provocation. The deputy was detained on false accusation, which is based on telephone conversations.
«They say that Kanatbek Isaev is getting ready for some kind of work. There is no voice of Isaev on the records, who would call for the forcible seizure of power,» Mambetzhunus Abylov said.
The Committee explains to supporters, relatives, colleagues that Kanatbek Isaev will be released in case of a fair investigation. There are no calls for illegal actions. But the power again arranges a provocation. Allegedly, the committee under the guise of defense intends to organize mass riots.
Kanatbek Isaev was detained on September 30. The court authorized his arrest. He will stay in the GKNB jail until November 30. He is charged with attempted forcible seizure of power and organization of mass riots.
