A mass brawl involving citizens of Kyrgyzstan occurred in Novosibirsk (Russia). Representative of the Kyrgyz diaspora in the Russian Federation Zharkynbai Toitukov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, a preliminary cause of the brawl was revenge of the former compatriot. The latter extorted money from entrepreneurs working in Khiloksky market of Novosibirsk.
«The brawl happened yesterday. In total, about 50 people participated in the conflict, including citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Several people were detained by the police. A former Kyrgyz citizen, who obtained Russian citizenship, began to infringe on the rights of compatriots and extort money. The latter gathered and decided to take revenge on him. They burned down his car,» said Zharkynbai Toitukov.
Interfax reports that there were about 200 people at the scene. Not everyone participated in the brawl, 50 participants were detained. Arriving at the site, the local police officer fired a warning shot. Participants of the conflict didn’t use weapons. Police find out cause of the conflict.
