Construction of a pedestrian overpass will be completed this year on the 63rd kilometer of the bypass road Bishkek — Balykchi (opposite Tokmak city). The Ministry of Transport and Roads reported.
Representatives of the ministry, Public Council of the Ministry of Transport and local authorities inspected construction work on the roads in Issyk-Ata district. They got acquainted with patching of Ivanovka — Obhodnaya road.
Trimming of the roadsides, painting, whitewashing, and pruning of trees along Bishkek — Balykchi — Naryn — Torugart road — PRC border have been fully completed. The road is completely cleared of inert materials, scattered in the winter against ice.
«This year, asphalt concrete will be laid on 2.25 km of the road and rough surface treatment of the 42 km of the road will be carried out, axial barrier fences on 5 km of the road will be installed. Construction of a pedestrian overpass will be completed on the bypass road,» Duishonkul Sultanov, head of the road maintenance section 34, told.
The largest project in this area is the reconstruction of Kant — asphalt concrete plant road, where the foundation of the road is being prepared for an asphalt concrete pavement.
