President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with the honorary consuls of Kyrgyzstan in foreign countries. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov told about transformations and changes that were taking place in Kyrgyzstan as part of the implementation of reforms in all spheres of the country’s activities, related to the development of regions, digitalization, fight against corruption, judicial and legal reform. He noted that all measures were being taken to improve the business environment and create a favorable investment climate.
«We are very grateful to the consuls for their work. The Institute of Honorary Consuls has great potential in implementation of economic projects, assistance to migrants. It is very important to strengthen economic ties, attract foreign investments, companies and tourists to Kyrgyzstan,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov explained.
He recalled that the priority areas of the economy of the country were energy, transport, providing the population with clean water, irrigation, information technology, tourism, agriculture, export of products, and drew special attention of honorary consuls to intensification of work in the field of economic diplomacy.
