Kyrgyzstanis won two medals at the Powerlifting World Cup among athletes with disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The tournament took place on February 9-12 in Dubai (UAE). At least 209 athletes from 39 countries competed for victory. Two out of four Kyrgyzstanis won medals.
Zhyrgalbek Orosbaev, competing in the weight category up to 107 kg, lifted the barbell weighing 206 kilograms and became the silver medalist. Azizbek Zamirbek uulu (up to 54 kg) lifted 75 kilograms and won bronze medal.
