The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev declared invalid the government resolution delegating the Bishkek City Administration the authority to license the carriage of passengers and goods by road. The decision was made to bring the decisions of the Cabinet in line with the laws on transport, licensing system and road transport.
The decree will take effect fifteen days from the date of its official publication. Thus, from January 2019, the city administration will not be able to license passenger and freight transportation by road.
