Witness of the murder of the prosecutor of Batken region Anarbai Mamazhakypov, Naim Dekhkanov, needs a surgery after beating. Damira Kalykova, sister of Melis Kalykov, who is suspected of the murder, told.
According to her, Naim Dekhkanov was beaten on November 18 by officers of Batken police and prosecution authorities.
«As a result of inhuman treatment, he urgently needs surgery on his knees due to damaged tissue. Naim Dekhkanov suffered severe head and body injuries. He was demanded to speak out against my brother, and when he refused, he paid for it. There is a real threat to the life of my brother and the witness of the murder of the prosecutor. He is now in hospital. Doctors are intimidated by the Batken police,» said Damira Kalykova.
Anarbai Mamazhakypov was killed in Batken on November 18. The body of the prosecutor was found outside the city. The police detained an employee of the capital construction department of Batken region on suspicion of murder. The suspect reported torture by law enforcement officers.
