The state of health of ex-deputy of the Parliament Omurbek Tekebayev worsened again. His lawyer Taalaigul Toktakunova informed 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the convicted politician got heart problems, and his blood pressure jumped dramatically after the transfer from the Center of Neurology to the penal colony 47.
«Omurbek Tekebayev is under constant medical supervision now. But there are no necessary medicines in the medical unit of the colony,» said Taalaigul Toktakunova.
The State Penitentiary Service told 24.kg news agency that if the convicted Omurbek Tekebayev needed a re-transfer to the hospital at the insistence of doctors, then he would be hospitalized.
Earlier, Omurbek Tekebayev was diagnosed with atherosclerosis of the aorta and coronary vessels, supraventricular extrasystolic arrhythmia, hypertension of the 2nd degree of very high risk, nodal goiter and euthyroidism. In addition, doctors found out he had a tumor in the thyroid gland. The politician refused to remove the tumor.
